Shrimp Enchilada with green sauce was fantastic... If you haven't tried the green sauce you really need to... The employees were friendly and very efficient.

Husband and I just stopped by for some chips and queso. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. They make their queso with a white cheddar with little spice. I do like the creamy consistency though. I say add a few more jalapenos to the queso and a pinch more salt to the chips and we'll have something to really talk about. Great comfort snack on a cold rainy day.

This place has to be the worst Mexican food in hot springs. The food was underwhelming as were the chips and salsa......Do yourself a favor and check out Joses or Colorado grill.

Wonderful! The chicken fajitas were so good! Vegetable were fresh tasting and not overlooked! They cooked them to perfection! The service was great and the restaurant was very clean! Overall, wonderful lunch spot! I will be back!

I've eaten at quite a few Mexican restaurants in Hot Springs and I must say that Trejo's is by far the best I've had in this area thus far. I enjoy a more authentic meal versus Tex-Mex and the food is pretty darned good and very authentic, in my opinion. The food is fairly priced for the portions received. Keep up the good work guys and I'll keep coming back.

I'll be dead honest here. This place is the best Mexican food restaurant in Hot Springs and I would go as far as saying its the best in Arkansas. Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks, and most important great service. I've been eating here for 7 years and still to date the best place to eat in my book. Full bar and some of the best cheese dip have ever eaten makes this place the go to spot for Mexican food.

Trejo's now has a full time bar manager: Adrian! This guy can make some incredible drinks and has revamped the whole bar menu and it is great! Come down for a drink (and some good food as well)! Recommend the hawaiian martini, mexican long island ice tea and cinnamon sugar twist martini.

New pricing, but not any notice for a call in order until you pick it up,... They are lacking in the quality they preciously offered, and getting stingy with the cheapest offering (tortilla chips) to many other Mexican places in town to choose from ... Honestly and now I can say better!.. One thing to know is be consistent with pricing and quality! And trejos disappointed me greatly !... I let this happen one time to many!... Previously visit was a bad steak ... Obviosly fouled .... Gross and old ... Now just getting worse !... Sorry you lost a customer that had been a regular aince your place opened !... To anyone reading this Try Cotilas instead ... It's off 70/ airport road

We used to love this place and recommend it to everyone... But those days are now past... The portions have continued to shrink and now they raised the prices too... And the cheapest thing they make (tortilla chips) are now treated as a precious commodity not to be shared with us customers... Guess I will now be eating at one of their many growing competitors, since my guess is they will be gone sooner than later with their current managerial decisions...

Great place! Awesome service and huge menu - like the Mexican version of a Greek diner. Also really awesome service. We were coming off a long driving day and staying in town for the night - this was a perfect dinner option.

Found this place because all of the BBQ in town was closed on a Sunday night as my group was driving back across Arkansas from a wedding. The service was impeccable, the food was solid, and the general atmosphere was just welcoming. The menu was a little over-whelming in all its options--you literally cannot read the whole thing--but everything we ordered was well-prepared and fresh. Highly recommend.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
